Presented as an architectural research proposal, a new Arts and Industry hub would be located at the City of Vancouver’s first Public Works site in False Creek South. The project would be composed of a small set of building types, repeated over the landscape in an assembly line fashion. One of these forms would be a sawtooth typology with a metal shed roof and continuous skylight that would create a large well lit environment for working under. Spaces would then be portioned in 300 sqft pieces, easily rentable to small businesses. The rooms could be combined or removed as companies grow or get smaller.
