Residential - Single Family - Renovation / Addition


This is a major renovation to a small single family home.  A bedroom wing was built off of the main living space at a skewed angle as a way to introduce a more dynamic set of views and spatial sequences. 

The living rooms opens out to a large brightly light covered space which is conceived more as a continuation of the interior space rather than a patio or porch. The roof volume suggests this with a ‘cut’ taken out of the gable, as opposed to something which is added on afterward.
